Starlink dynamic pricing: why the price now depends on your address

On 1 November 2026 we rechecked the starlink.com order forms across Europe. In five countries – France, Italy, Spain, Greece and the United Kingdom – the Residential price now depends on the service address: 10 or 20 % less than before where the network has spare capacity. Germany, Czechia, Poland and the other countries we checked kept one fixed price. Here are the prices we saw, town by town.

Starlink checkout: Referral code applied, you’ll get €45 – cash or Starlink service credit
The Irish starlink.com checkout on 11 October 2026 with our referral link: “Referral code applied – you’ll get €45, cash or Starlink service credit.” Germany, France, Italy and Spain showed €45 too.

How to get the reward

  1. Click the link above – starlink.com opens with the referral applied
  2. Order a Residential or Roam plan – the checkout shows “Referral code applied” with the amount for your country
  3. Activate your kit and stay subscribed for at least 2 months – then the reward is yours as cash or service credit

When do I get the reward? Starlink says rewards go out from about 60 days after activation – the exact timing depends on your country, account settings and an identity check. You need to stay subscribed for at least two months. In your Starlink account you choose whether you want the reward as cash or as service credit, and Starlink sends an email once it’s confirmed.

Sources: starlink.com Residential order forms opened for a public address in each town on 1 November 2026, without ordering. Prices are per month with the kit rented for €0 (£0). “–” means the order form offered only Residential 100 Mbps at that address.

Check your own address

The only price that counts is the one starlink.com shows for your address. Enter it on the order page and the plan cards show the monthly price before you pay anything. Ordering through a referral link, new customers also see the referral reward in the checkout – €45 in the eurozone, £40 in the UK – paid as cash or service credit after two months subscribed.

What we know

Starlink says it on the order form. In these five countries the Residential order form now reads: “Starlink employs dynamic pricing based on supply and demand. Every satellite launch expands our network, and as capacity grows in your area, prices can go down.” It also promises “a month’s notice before any change goes into effect”.

It follows capacity, not city size. Lyon, a city of half a million, got €28 – while Paris got €31.50 and only the 100 Mbps plan. Rural Aurillac and Lozère got €28 too, and in Italy Rome, Milan and rural Nuoro all showed the same €31.50.

Prices can go up again. Starlink writes that any increase will be driven by demand. A low price today is not a fixed price – Starlink only promises to tell you a month ahead.

Germany, Czechia and Poland stayed the same. Germany 35, 55 and 75 €, Czechia 745, 1,010 and 1,545 Kč, Poland 135, 190 and 265 zł – with no dynamic pricing text on the order form. Every country is in the Starlink price in Europe overview.

Frequently asked questions

What is Starlink dynamic pricing?

Since November 2026 Starlink sets the Residential price by service address in some countries. Where the network has spare capacity the price is lower. The order form says: “Starlink employs dynamic pricing based on supply and demand. Every satellite launch expands our network, and as capacity grows in your area, prices can go down.”

Which countries have Starlink dynamic pricing?

On 1 November 2026 we saw it in France, Italy, Spain, Greece and the United Kingdom. Germany, Czechia, Poland, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Ireland, Portugal, Croatia, the Nordic and Baltic countries, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia, Slovenia and Iceland still showed one price.

How much cheaper is Starlink now?

10 or 20 %. Residential 100 Mbps cost €35 in France, Italy, Spain and Greece; on 1 November 2026 we saw €31.50 (−10 %) and €28 (−20 %). In the UK London stayed at £40 and Hexham dropped to £32.

Is Starlink cheaper in the countryside?

Not as a rule. Lyon got the lowest price (€28) while Paris got €31.50 – and rural Nuoro in Italy showed the same €31.50 as Rome and Milan. The price follows the free capacity in your area, not whether you live in a town.

Will my existing Starlink price change?

Starlink promises “a month’s notice before any change goes into effect”. We have only checked prices for new orders, so look out for an email from Starlink if you already have a plan.

Does dynamic pricing change Roam or the Starlink Mini?

Not in what we checked. On 1 November 2026 the French Roam order form still showed €45 for 100GB and €95 for Unlimited, with the Mini X at €199.
