Rent, don’t buy
With a Residential plan Starlink rents you the dish and router for €0 upfront and €0 a month. The kit stays Starlink’s: if you cancel, you have to send it back – the order form says so. Every order comes with a 30-day trial, so you can test the signal at your address first.
What’s different in Ireland
Home plans cost the same as in Germany. Residential is €35, €55 and €75 a month in Ireland – exactly what Germany charges. France has priced by address since 1 November 2026: €28–31.50 for 100 Mbps, €36 and €52 for the faster plans. The price depends on the service address, so you order for the Irish address where you’ll use it. Every country we checked is in the Starlink price in Europe overview.
The 100 Mbps plan comes with the Mini. On 25 October 2026 the Irish order form named the Residential 100 Mbps kit as the Starlink Mini with a built-in router – most other European order forms we checked list the Mini X there. It’s rented for €0 upfront and €0 a month; you pay only €24 shipping. How big the Mini is: Starlink Mini size guide.
With Roam you buy the dish. Roam 100GB costs €45 a month and Roam Unlimited €95, the same as in Germany and France. The Roam kit isn’t rented: you choose the Mini Kit for €199 or the Standard kit for €349, plus €24 shipping – €223 or €373 due today. Optional extras are the Car Adapter for €63 and the Router Mini for €65. Which dish suits you: Starlink Standard vs Mini.
No contract, installation optional. The Irish form says “No contracts, 30-day trial. Ships in 1-2 weeks.” for both Residential and Roam. Most people set the kit up themselves; professional installation is an optional €170 – €2 less than the €172 most other EU countries show.
